Mogwai Outdoor Dining Table by CarmWorks

Camilo Andres Rodriguez Marquez designed the Mogwai the way he designs everything at CarmWorks: starting from the wood, from what it has to say, and nothing else. In solid oak finished with the Yakisugi charred wood technique, this outdoor table rests on a geometric base where two diagonal blocks tie the symmetrical forms together at their centre, giving the whole piece a solidity you can read before you even touch it. Treated with natural oils and matte enamel, it holds up against UV exposure and the elements, settling naturally onto a terrace or into a contemporary garden.
